From Lexington:
Take Richmond Road to Old Richmond Road (it begins at the light at Jacobson
Park) which is 25/421.
Upon turning onto Old Richmond Road, measure 4.2 miles which should take
you to Evans Mill Road (on the right you will pass Delong, Walnut Hill, Jack's
Creek & Damar before reaching Evans Mill)
Turn right onto Evans Mill, STOP, look left, DON'T GO even 1/10 of a mile!)
and see the 2 stone pillars and flanking stone fences. The right one says
"Silvacola Farm". Take the long driveway toward the 2 story house in the
distance.
Parking will be in the field prior to going over the 2nd cattle gate at the
brick pillars.
Coming from I 75:
Take the Athens Exit, #104 and turn away from town (that would be turn left
if going south and turn right if coming from the south and going north) on
Athens Boonesboro Road.
Go 1.5 miles (you will first go through a yellow blinking light) to the 4
way stop in Athens.
Turn right at that stop onto Cleveland Road and go until it ends at Old
Richmond Road.
Turn right onto Old Richmond Road and go 1.3 miles until you see Evans Mill
Road on your left. The farm will be on your left the last .9 of the 1.3 miles
so you should be able to see the house in the distance.
Turn left onto Evans Mill, STOP, look left, DON'T GO even 1/10 of a mile!)
